The top middle and left i used a faster shutter speed, probably like 1/1000' of a second to capture the image as a frozen image. I used a D3100 camera so it was in mode S. I froze the motion of the pinwheel as it was moved by the wind in a circular motion. I was relatively close to leave out as much negative space as possible. I think that the rule of thirds and the lack of negative space strengthens the picture. Also the texture of the pinwheel is very interesting to consider.
The bottom middle picture i used a slower shutter speed, like a two second shutter speed to blur the pinwheel. I was still using a D3100 camera in mode S. I blurred the motion of the pinwheel as it blew in the wind. I was still relatively close to the subject to eliminate negative space and used the rule of thirds to strengthen the image as a whole.
